Delivery & Returns

Here at Evein Car Care we aim to dispatch your goods the same day when ordered before 1pm, depending on stock items and availability.  On the rare occasion we do not have one of the products in stock we will call and then email you and ask if you would like us to hold your order back until we can send it out as a complete order or send you a different product in its place.

 

All parcels will be sent with DPD Courier service on a next working day service ( highlands & islands are normally 48 hour delivery. 

 

When DPD deliver for you:

  • You are given a one hour delivery window

  • You are notified of this by text & email (as long as you have input these details when checking out)

  • If the delivery date is not convenient, you can use the text or email to change it with DPD

  • Delivery is made on working days only and does not include weekends and bank holidays.

All parcels received must be checked for damage & leakage Before you sign!  In any cases where you suspect there is any damage to the package you can refuse delivery (you must state your reason) and have it sent back to Evein Car Care. It is the Customer's responsibility to check all goods for damage and to make a written note of any damage on the carrier's paperwork before signing for acceptance of said goods. Once goods have been signed for the Seller cannot accept any liability for damage since a clean signature invalidates any claim against the carrier. We will replace free of charge any goods lost in transit once we have received confirmation from the carrier that the goods are indeed lost. We will repair or replace free of charge goods damaged in transit provided that we receive written notification and photographic evidence of such damage within two days of delivery and goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition have been signed for as such. No damaged items will be replaced without photographic evidence.  On receipt, goods should be checked against the enclosed invoice. Any shortages must be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt of goods, otherwise no liability can be accepted. The packing and contents should be retained for inspection.

We do have a option for a Saturday delivery depending on certain postcodes. This information is available on request which is normally around £20 but can change. All orders for Saturday delivery must be received before 1pm on the Friday.

Returns Information

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, the Customer has the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. Goods must be returned to the Seller at the Customer's own expense and arrive in "as new" condition, upon which a refund will be issued for the full value of the goods (any postage/packaging costs paid by the Customer are non-refundable, unless the goods supplied by the Seller are faulty.) Goods so returned must be in resaleable condition, appropriately packed, carriage paid and accompanied by a copy of the sales invoice/correspondence with the Seller in relation to the return.

It is advisable to use a shipping method that requires a signature upon delivery, since proof of sending will not constitute proof of receipt of any returned item.

If you select the Store Pickup option at checkout, no shipping charge will be applied and your order will be held at our premises noted above for collection when it suits you (we can normally accommodate an evening collection until 10pm ). Please contact us beforehand (by phone or email) to advise us of your intended collection date/time so we can ensure your order is ready for you and there is somebody at the premises, thank you.
